LEGAL EXPERIENCE FROM COAST TO COAST
Brian has litigated cases from Maine to Hawaii and many points in between. He is admitted to all state courts in Mississippi and Tennessee. He is also admitted in the E.D. Michigan and N.D. Florida. Brian is also admitted in the Courts of Appeal for the D.C. Circuit, Fifth Circuit, and Ninth Circuit.
Brian has successfully obtained reversals of district court decisions in the D.C and Eleventh Circuits.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Brian is a member of the Mississippi Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, Public Justice, and frequent speaker on topics such as mass torts, class actions, identity theft, and arbitration.
REPRESENTATIVE CASES
A partner on the legal team that represented 14 states in recouping billions of taxpayers’ dollars spent on smoking-related illnesses.
A member of the Lead Counsel team in In Re Auto Parts Litig. (E.D. Mich.) involving one of the largest antitrust conspiracies in U.S. history.
Appointed Class Counsel for three national classes related to mislabeled food.
A member of the Steering Committee that litigated and resolved numerous state court class actions regarding late fees.
Appointed to Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee in Orr, et al. v. Intercontinental Hotels Group, PLC, et al.; 1:17cv01622 (N.D. Ga.).
Lead Counsel in the first post-recall trial involving over-the-counter products containing phenylpropanolamine (PPA).
